Today I got from the painter all the parts of my Commando 750 Dunstallizzer.
Is a hot spray painting, but not powercoating, the tank and side covers are finished with a double coat of clear covering the decals.
Will mount a standard engine with a Combat head and carburettors Amal 932.
The brake system is with three calipers and master cylinders Lockheed AP Racing.
The Borrani wheels with rims 185/19/40 and stainless steel spokes, have the hubs and discs of Triumph.
The two sliders in the part where they mount the calipers, are hand made.
Esternal parts is missing only the fairing which I'm building (I have the standard body and two headlight rings) and the two mufflers.
I have yet to buy various pieces (silent block, isolastick, gaskets, bearings, etc) for about 750 P.
However the start of the beginning of the assembly is slated for next spring ....... maybe.
Even this Commando will be a "total black".
Now lies on a king size bed and will sleeps a long!
Ciao.
Piero
