Domiracer For Sale ..........?

I have just had a look at the Norton Motorcycles website,then a look at Norton_ceo twitter and see that they are advertising a Domiracer.................?????????
Very very odd........
I thought that they had sold out over a year ago and had a great big reserve list ?
They are also at the biggest bike show in the UK at the moment and can't find someone there to buy it ?
Or are they building more than the 50 bikes promised ?
Or worse....no one else wants one ?

I prefer the look of the regular 961s.
Wouldn't want to ride that one in the rain, or even on a damp road. The rear wheel would cover the rider and the whole bike in road grime. Plus it just looks wrong in the back end.

Looks like a cancelled order and rather than offer it to the next person on the old list they are offering it to highest bidder by offering it at a steadily lowered price.

No don't think either is a cancelled order, certainly not #11.

Sean told me during my factory tour that there were a couple of Domiracers that would be coming up for sale as there was such a long delay in production some people had cancelled their orders. That was back in August though.
 
The Domiracer that Norton had for sale i think originally at £50k, it was on their facebook page. They dont say what it went for.
 
The ebay listing for #11 has its location as up in Scotland near Edinburgh, and its not showing yet as sold. Odd that Norton also had it for sale but maybe it was not #11 after all, so 3 for sale out of 50 all at the same time.
 
I just realized that these are not auctions but classified adds. The fact that some of these have sold for more then $50,000 blows my mind!

jejus, that is UGLY
those frametubes seem to have lost their way and do not know where to run to
one must be really blind to be able to say it looks nice . it is a bit like the bike Ducati made after their georgeous 916series,that bloke terblanche-monstrosities
perhaps we can start a forum for the things made after the nice bikes (with this i mean a REAL commando)and say : it is expensive and so it must be beoetifoel

I'll admit the rear end isn't perfect for me but most people find it drop dead gorgeous and all were sold long before they were built!

Ugly? Sorry, but what planet do you live on?

I saw these things on the factory tour and had to stop myself licking it, it was that gorgeous, and the noise.....
