Has anyone converted an dominator ss or naked to flat bars?, if so how did you do it?, new top yoke, cables, bars, brake lines?

My 961 needed new throttle cables, brake hose, clutch hose, different brackets for the brake and clutch master cylinders, handle bars, handle bar mounts and the top yoke machining for handle bar mounts.

Probably why my CR with clipons will remain as is.

I did think about just getting some raised or flat clip ons, Rhea May work with no other mods?
Or just learn to get used to it

IMHO, handle bars of any description would pretty much destroy the styling, and to a large extent, the overall point of a Dominator.

If it were mine, I’d try some adjustable raised clip ons.

I fitted some of these to my RnineT: https://www.bikermart.co.uk/ABM-Multiclip-Tour-Clip-On-Adjustable-Sportsbike-Clip-On-Set

See pics below, pretty good compromise between style and comfort. Drop ‘em for fun days and raise ‘em if going any distance. They had about 3 inch of up and down adjustability and seemingly infinite adjustability of angles etc.

Once the cables and hoses are lengthened , David can alway swap back and leave the longer hoses/cables on. This is what Richard-7 has done. If it was my bike I would make it as easy to ride it as necessary . This way I will ride it more and I can go longer and further . The look with higher bars will be somewhat speed triple like and whats not to like about that. I say go for it David !
