You broke the code of silenceI still think Ti pipes would look cool on a Domi special Stu!
NRP exhausts, a one-man-band near Mansfield, do some cool one-off stuff.
I know it’s an ‘old’ Commando, but here’s an example of NRP Ti pipe artistry:

I like Skinners design for the headers, I just wanted the megaphones changing in shape, along with properly securing them to the engine & bike. Yeah Ti would look mega cool...but...and hear me out....I was thinking chromeI still think Ti pipes would look cool on a Domi special Stu!

Should be nice n quietHe recently made these for a customers build...Manx style but rotated round to this position.
Why not polished stainless if you’re going for the chrome bling look?Well, it's a blingy in your face domi with a polished tank, let's go the whole hog lol
From what I've seen, you get much nicer header colours with chrome. Rust shouldn't be an issue, it's a show pony, will see bugger use tbh.Why not polished stainless if you’re going for the chrome bling look?
Chrome rust.
Polish the titanium. Talk about nice colors. You get the whole rainbow of color with Ti and a weight savingsFrom what I've seen, you get much nicer header colours with chrome. Rust shouldn't be an issue, it's a show pony, will see bugger use tbh.
Much more ground clearance as the original pipes are mounted under the bike frame and the megaphones are more up to the side of the frame.Still pretty damn loud, but more socially acceptable...I like them. Not sure if they get more ground clearance or not....here are some pics next to the one and only ‘high bar’ Dominator.
TVS doesn’t have enough spare parts for that kind of testing.Perhaps the proto type 961 should have been given 7 laps of the IOM at race speed, to see what might fail and what might work well ?
