Duh ye-yah yesterday & you and the Mark Three MKIII MK3 toilers know in your hearts they are special. I'd never look in either for extra incenitive.

I think it is reasonable for a Mklll forum, new era, left shift, electrokick

Doing any of these will make the forum worse.

There are already a lot of forums to choose from. What happens when someone has a general heavy twin engine topic etc?

For me, the current set up is fine. Anything that makes it more difficult to use is a backwards step.

FE is right. More forums means more Commando queries unseen by people who could help.

We need a Hobot, Rohan and Acotrel forum.

+1 .
not long ago there was a poll for a pub section , to stop this endless hijacking of threads by the acotrels and the hobbots , and to keep the Norton Commando forum strictly Commando .
Nothing changed .

Jerry,

I think that the MKIII and pre-MKIII Commando's are so similar that to separate the two would be a dis-service. Realistically the biggest (not all) changes lie in the primary case. They have more in common then they have in difference.

Agree fully with this. It is much easier to find things when they are not splintered into all these sub-groups.

Jerry,
It was suppose to be just a joke..........sort of. Kind of a running thing with LAB over the years.
I am sorry for any hassles this may cause you, Jerry. It's sort of fun to watch how people grab a hold of this stuff though.

Seriously though, and contrary to what some think, the MK3's are very different in oh so many ways that for me, sometimes, it surely begs the question.

That being said, the polls do show some, it only little, support.

I think it is best to keep the MK3 s in with other Commandos. Pete is correct, there are a lot of improvements on the MK3, something like 150 items. Keeping the MK3s in with the other Commandos reminds people like Pete that there is an easy solution to many of their problems- just sell the old bike and buy a nice MK3. :)

Improvements? Right, that's what all those post are about.

I sure like it what someone says those 3 little words. It gets old, but never stale. :)
