AFAIK the Dominator line started in 1947 with the model 7 and ... etc

May we correct the record here and note that the Model 7 didn't officially appear until 1949.

And how many "yes" voters are Dominator owners who feel it would be somehow disloyal to vote "no."

Who wants to be stuck in a quiet backwater with no action, and no other posts ?? !!

I'd much rather that all the 'other' Nortons stuck together.
Its not like there are zillions of posts, that we need to sort out/separate all the different models...

That Dominator looks a lot like an Atlas....Am I missing something here?

Perhaps that 88 dommies and Atlas's don't LOOK all that different. ?
Except in detail...

Count the cylinder fins.
Note the cigar type mufflers.
Check out the horizontal carbs.
Look at that timing cover with badge.

Need we go on ?

BTW, nice bike Tobin.
Looks terrific.

See, by having a COMBINED forum here, someone has already learned something.

Exactly!!!! And yes, very nice bike.....

Although I voted "Yes" for a Dommie thread I'm fine without one, same for Atlas thread. Yet there's a separate P11 thread which seems a bit strange to me.
cheers
