You should come on over and give it a try Baz with girls or boys , if you close in age to me you should arrive at rink via ambulance , have them wait for your return trip , bunch of old guys I finished with , mostly done , the few that kept our prime time hour of ice invited University caliber girls to join them, hear the girls beat shit out of the old fools ( my friends) 😁

I'm 63 in a couple of weeks
Only girls played hockey when I was at school
I can remember it was a bit extreme especially the boots the goalies wore
I wouldn't want to mess with them that's for sure 😂😂😂

Kinda like how England and America are the same. Except one lost and got kicked out.
All the while, the ones that stayed claimed this was their land and stole it from the Native Americans.

About as wrong as the Italians thinking Columbus discovered America first.
Go figure.
 
I gave up ice hockey at 50 , the indoor hockey didn’t last near that long maybe 28-30 , both a long time ago Baz 10+ yrs on ya 😎

Sorry Baz , not sure what type of fog I was in last night/morning , I’m only 5yrs older than you … wish I could bottle whatever state I was in ,prolly be rich if possible ….

My brain fart was huge though Baz , checked mirror today to see if extra hole in my head had grown 😉, I usually know my own age exactly , I do know my last B’day made me older than my Dad when he got away …. Got a lot of joy out of hockey , football & rugby …. the old guy sports lack the edge to get blood on the boil , not for me …. Twisty road on 2 wheels still does the trick !

Wore an Everoak p.pot til the 80's, goggles fixed in position so they wouldn't blow off!

Yep I've lost/smashed a few sets of mk 9s
Not all open face lids had the clip at the back
Even worse was the non flip visors that clipped on the front
Poxy things they were!!
