Yes we believe you ;)

In the UK if you wait 6 months before posting your videos then no action can be taken for speeding in the video. It can be different for other offences.

Maybe I can now remove the edits from mine :D

Unless you keep to Commandos, it may be better off in MRD or this thread - interesting-motorcycle-vids-t11383.html

got it, thanks

Your probably right, how would you move to the MDR section.
LAB would have to do it. But really, I think it's ok, totally related to your Commando and to the success of your efforts. It's a good example. No Big whoop to worry about on this one, unless it gets out of hand... but that NEVER happens.

Hmmm, well... 8) I don't think I will be losing any sleep worrying abot Swedish law inforcement scanning the net for speeding Nortons. :D

Very nice, great road, the fall in No. Cal is dried out and brown. Plan on riding hwy-49 soon, going through the gold discovery country.

Between november and febuari I wouldn't mind swapping the roads in southern Sweden for California. Not at all. We don't get much snow, just a few days normally, but we do get three or four months with fog, drizzle and rain and not much sunshine.

Fun video. But I have to ask, were the handlebars really shaking that much in a couple of the corners, or was that just the camera mounts?

Post your dash cam videos!
Hey Mark, Was that a Gopro? I have one that i mounted on my helmet and wind has a profound effect on both noise and the neck.

Hey Pete, I have a GoPro Hero-3, the video of my vStrom the camera is behind the windscreen, I've never mounted the camera on the helmet. I own two types of cases, one has openings on the back cover and the other is completely enclosed. The open box will get wind noise and you will hear more engine and exhaust noise, enclosed case will be muffled. At lower speeds there wont be as much wind noise, but at higher speeds the noise increases a lot.

I've got a crystal clear view in the rear view mirror on this bike. (Exept when idling.) The camera was chest mounted. Perhaps you are referring to the effects when the different film sequences were overlapping each others? I don't think the bike vibrates more than other Commandos I've tried. (Not that they are too many.) That said, I haven't checked the Isos in ten years and one do tend to get accustomed to a bikes certain idiosyncracies. I'll check 'em this winter. Or maybe next...

Great sound track!
You are a lucky man to have such a fine machine and those open roads to thrash her on.
:P
did no know they made Interstate Combats. Or is that tank a mod from original roadster tank?

Great to see where these bikes get ridden.

Here's some 'old country' footage...

Forest of Bowland, Lancashire.
The last stretch of road was used many years ago to transport the Lancashire Witches to Lancaster Castle for their very own 'last stretch'

Yes, Interstates were Combats, (as far as is known all Interstates built during the Combat period were Combats).

Yup - as LAB says. I'd never really worked out if the first interstates were Combats or not, but the only departure from original on mine was the pipes & silencers were changed from the pannier-friendly horizontal outlet types which were still on (rusted to) the bike when I bought it.
A seriously fun bike - everyone should have one!

Oh yeah my bike is fairly smooth, the GoPro shakes on all of my bikes, differs on which bike I'm on, road speed, the road cond, plus its mounted on an extension. heres a photo.

Great footage - your setup looks like the best option for capturing the essence of a ride without the vibes :)
My helmet cam loses something of the flow of the bike in the corners which your footage gets so much better.

I did the River Highway from Troutdale to Sandy a few years back (on a H****** D********) - up until then I'd thought US roads were all straight

Your quote from the video-

"The twisties at 03:12 were terrific fun and I’m sure some of the guys out there would go a little quicker but it’s plenty for my riding style. I just love this bike."
A friend n a local BMW club crashed and in hospital, he'll be ok. ( think riding fast).
Ride safe to ride another day.

I live in Grass Valley , think I met you at A&S vintage show .

I may not ride as fast as you but would like to meet you for a 49 ride About 200 miles if you do 49 to 89, Old 40 and 20 back to Grass Valley. You would be some what longer getting here.
