Crash bobbins

Has anyone experience of fitting "crash bobbins" I was thinking of fitting R&G.They dont list for a 2018 916 (mine) im presuming the frame hasnt changed since inception?

Which model is your bike , I have some fork protector s from R & G I’m outing ( unwanted) present as they only fit the sport , the sport has a hollow front axel , usd forks don’t

Any communication from the Factory on whether they recommend specific crash protectors, apart from - Don’t Crash!
