Stock seal is about 4.5mm in height

That one looks like it'd work. Bookmarked for the "next time".

I measured the old seal at 4.9 mm thick. The McMaster seals I got are 8 mm, too thick.
Depth of the case bore, 4.75 mm. Distance to the keyway slot, 5.03 mm. Not much room between that and the seal lip.
Used a standard Norton part and JB Weld - it ain't going anywhere. No more leaks.

Glad to see it worked out.

If you ever end up using the metric double lipped seals, you can trim the rubber away from the bottom edge of the OD with a pen knife (the part that seats in the case bore) to lose a mil, this brings the overall height down to about 4mm.

£18 delivery on 2 off £1.70 parts!

I think as has been discussed before, the RGM postage calculator is sometimes wrong, and they only charge what it really costs. There’s no way it’d cost that to post to France I’m sure. Well, I think !

Earlier in the thread I commented on the speedi-sleeve. Well I got out on the bike for 65 miles and came back with no leak.
A first I can tell you. Yes 65 miles is no test and it could gush 20-50 shortly but that at least is where I am right now and
figured I should report. Never had the leak around the edge problem. Using stock AN supplied seal. Pretty sure the sleeve
provides a bit more diameter ie a tighter seal and of course a smoother working surface.
May the gods continue to smile upon me.
