I've always liked the way a Corbin seat looks on a Commando, but with Corbin selling them for $299, and local dealers for even more I never seriously considered getting one.
Then I found one for $185 (US) at: www.gforcecycles.com so I ordered it - hell, thats over $100 cheaper!
Unfortunately they were out of stock, as was thier supplier. They said they could get one from Corbin but it would be $259 (still a good price, but not good enough for this cheapskate).
I know Corbin makes these to individual order, but do they also make batches of generic ones and sell them cheaper? If so does anyone know where these may available at this price?

I don't usually get anything from Ebay, but i did buy a Corbin seat for my Roadster for $200 including shipping. It was new and from a MC shop, probably old stock or ordered for someone that never picked it up.
Caution with Ebay, especially used parts, there's a lot of resellers out there that have to make rent on their mobile home and buying used parts can be a real problem unless the person is super honest. Nuff said,

Scooter, I couldn't agree with you more about E-Bay. I have bought far too much. I guess it's part of being a Norton junkie. I see something I like, I get it and oh wow. Never would have bought it in person. Other items have been fine.

It's amazing how loosely the term NOS gets tossed around. When you think it means New Old Stock, on E-Bay it just might mean Non Operating Stuff!!
