Thanks FE , been hard finding new reading material during the Holidays .... can’t watch football all the time !

Now I've got to go search this out.... It could become another holy scripture much like an original shop manual complete with oil and grease marks made by a long passed Norton mechanic of great esteem and fame.... with side notes scrawled across the pages.

Jim will be pleased.

Besides a full rebuild, the bike has a Stage 1 cam, beehive springs, BSA Lightning cam followers, light pushrods, longer-than-stock Carillo rods with shorter forged JC pistons, and diamond-coated gudgeon pins and valves.

I will buy that magazine for the article on the Seeley Condor. That would be better than any Commando. I think there were only ever about 5 made. The Seeleu with the G50 motor was the best ever single cylinder British road- racing motorcycle. They were still competitive in the late 1960s. It would still be worth building one today, but there would probably be no race class to suit it.

Probably the easiest bike to build, ever ? My Seeley 850 was easy to build, but a Condor would be a cinch. - With a 6 speed TTI box, it would be beautiful. - So light !

Are you fecking mad?

Get the Continental as well, they are nice bikes but don't have the character of the Commando. ( and yours is a stunner).

That's my ha'pence worth.

would have to sell the 68 BSA and 72 T120 and mebbe the 75 XS650 to get $ for new RE but wife forbids me to sell anything! she loves them all!
