I have yet to see where I am wrong on any point. at the present the bikes have no fuel economy standards BUT we DO have emission standards and no ding pop has met them.with the cost of fuel today I would guess the consumer would not buy a motorcycle that gets 66% of the fuel mileage of a comparable 4 stroke model. on this point the buyer would set the standard right now IFit was available. the auto's do have the fuel mileage to meet along with emissions, so again where is the ring ding???

WOW - Bill, is that your way of admitting you were wrong? L.O.L.
& as a matter of interest, just what are the "fuel economy standards" for roadbikes?

I like the sound of a good harmonica

#1 vibration has numerous causes. = rattle = braions loose . Actually osscilations or occurences . Then theres harmonics . Which are actually fairly usefull .

' Vibration ' sounds so negetive . :p

Bill are you legally purblind?
& if you want to see where you are wrong, start with a mirror, -then C.T. brain, & etc.. L.O.L.

What about inventing fuel economy regulations for bikes, Bill?
You just made that up, & you WERE WRONG!
In fact, your level of technical comprehension is sad...almost as sad as your failure to...nevermind I wont be cruel & rub it in anymore..

Heres what Harley Davidson were up to in F - 750 in 1973 , before the Japanese missinterpretation of the term ' Production ' .

I have been using the fuel economy term with VEHICLE just like the term EMISSIONS as both motorcycle and automobile have to comply with one or both. so far your beloved ding pop has not even met the one on emissions for road motorcycles which is less strict than for automobiles, much less either one for an automobile. so again you are WRONG as of today as there are ZERO NONE NADA NOT ONE road going VEHICLE powered by a ring ding!!!!!

PS I don't count under 50CC as they are NOT legal on major roads.

I will say it again I CANNOT BUY A 2 SMOKE ROAD VEHICLE TODAY and why is that??? is it Honda's fault as your EXPERT says ??? even the BRP web site has proven me right on the poor fuel consumption issue along with saying that you CANNOT run the ding pop in Yellowstone park but the 4 stroke is OK as it is a lower emissions engine. call it what you want but you have not proven me wrong and even resorted to name calling. now it looks like you have decided to take your stick and ball and go home.

Bill, in you initial post on this thread you used the term "bollocks" - that term sums up all your posts on this thread...

Jeeeze Bill, its like flogging a dead horse, is your cranium filled with depleted uranium? - your brain is of a similar density it seems... did you check the link in my previous post [ DOH ] ...go & buy that 2T Aprilia, Bill..., its for sale now...

show me where on the official aprilia USA (http://www.apriliamasters.com/) site where i can buy there ding pop as a road bike. they show an RS125 in the road section but it does not even have a license plate bracket which tells me it is NOT road legal.in comparison the home page also shows the RS125 BUT it has a license plate bracket so it might be road legal elsewhere.as aprilia is such a small player here (might as well not exist) I doubt if they ever even sold one here as a ROAD bike. if it will satisfy you I will contact a dealer to see if it is road legal which doubt. as a point of interest all small engines here have put restrictions on carb adjustments to the point of it is almost a fixed jet carb and some place's only sell 4 stroke lawn equipment. some lakes and national forest land have banned the ring ding be it a boat, snow sled,ATV or dirt bike he$$ some communities have even banned leaf blower's. what you have down under does not applie to the US market. And I will say it again where in the US can I buy a large displacement road vehicle

Bill, you`ve got to get out more, there IS more to the world than your down-home spots in Jerkwater/Hicksville, U.S.A...& you`ve got paypal havent you,....or is it that witless protection program thing getting in the way...L.O.L.
Say, with your technical prowess it should be a cinch for you to get an invite to be program director for BMW R & D 2T division...get e-mailin`, quick...

here we go again with the name calling . I would NOT call the 3 largest market's in the US as "jerkwater/hicksville". The US is THE largest market for products in the world at the moment and you still have not proven your point as a marketable large displacement road vehicle in the US market. Again even BRP admits your ding pop is a more thirsty and a dirtier engine than a 4 stroke and they are one of the leaders in ring ding technology.

"Name-calling" "bollocks""ding ring pull pop" thats your game Bill, with you, its like shooting fish in a barrel... no sport, just banging away... YOU ARE WRONG, on the points you bring up, you evidently cannot comprehend even the basics...tell me about V8s Bill, why do they have different firing orders some have flat-plane cranks, what are they about, & what is the crank/firing configuration of the V8 racing 2T Mercury out-board mill?

let me see here, I am a nut case, thick headed, on drugs, brain injury and blind to the facts to name a few. I have NEVER called you an idiot, stupid hick from jerkwater or other drivel as you are probably a fairly intelligent individual, you just don't have a handle on the US market and regulations. the only name calling on my part is your engine design that so far not ONE major manufacture has one on the streets in an automobile or large motorcycle . OK on the firing order, flat crank and the rest this has NOTHING to do with the FACT that I keep telling you a 2 smoke is not road legal here!!!!!

Still making things up eh, Bill? I`ve never called you any of those things, but perhaps others have? Maybe you are developing some self-awareness after all, that would be good..
Anyhow, go back to the gist of this thread, & your 1st post, YOU WERE WRONG,& clinging to pedantic matters that I have not contested anyway wont change that.
I dont pretend to fortell the future but you cant either, & your irrational inability to separate your own prejudiced fixations from the facts as presented does you no credit. Get over it,leave it or start paying for therapy..
