Commando Coffee Table

I was cleaning some stuff out and found an old sketch book of mine. A long time ago I had drawn up a coffee table using a Norton engine. At the time I had the engine from my bike but everything else was in pieces. This way I could look at the engine and dream about the rest of the bike.

The top of the engine would protrude through a hole in the glass. I'd probably do it differently but I still like the idea.

i think I preferred the version where it was up on the bar.
And when you pulled the handle, it dispensed beer...

Couple of spare engines holding up the glass tabletop has potential though (= no steel framework).

Have the glass act like the head gasket with bolt holes through the glass. Then the glass becomes a functional part of the engine.
