Coil & Warning Light Assimilator Wires??

On my 73 750 which hasn't run in over 10 years the wires to the coil, not the plug wires, are not currently connected. Same for the assimilator. Can anyone explain which wires go where for these? Thanks!

The unmarked wire between the ballast resistor and both coil negative terminals on the diagram should be: White/Violet.

Assimilator terminal markings:

AL = (Alternator) Green/Yellow
WL = (Warning lamp) White/Brown
E = (Earth/Ground) Red
