I stepped up and purchased a new front end from CNW. Actually my wife bought me the Brembo's for my birthday. I have a good wife. Everything else I purchased myself. New fork tubes, dampers and progressive springs, all shortend one inch. New tripple trees, headligh ears, 2 7/8" rise drag bars and controls.

First I would like to say dealing with Matt at CNW is awsome. He answered a million questions before, during and after the sale. He actually answered emails through easter weekend as I installed everthing. Second don't forget to order you other parts when buying a speciallty item off of CNW. He had everything in stock and all was competitively priced. Some things were actually cheap. I think he did the custom machine work for about $50.00. try getting that done at home .

I wanted the brembos for abvious reasons, stopping in important. The balance was done mostly for costmetic reasons. The spin off was that she now handles like a dream. I expected some difference but wow. After my break in and check I went for a test run, it ended up being 200 miles. The most enjoyable 200 miles I have ever had on a Norton. Its a lot of money but if you Commando is your main ride I highly recommend it.
