Is there stack height spec that one can actually measurer with a micrometer, rather than eyeballing the stack against the circlip groove?

If the issue surfaced all of a sudden I'd look at the adjuster located on the clutch hub. Another thing to check would be the condition of your clutch cable. It could be waaay stretched or starting to come apart.

Hi im also in perth have you cheched the clutch basket main nut hasnt loosened this will give more freeplay between clutch and pushrod you need to remove clutch pressure plate to tighten nut it happened on mine on saterday first time in 4 years since restore if you have adjusted up nut on clutch cable on handlebars a couple of times recently there is a good chance the main nut is loosening and wont allow clutch to disengage properly have cluch puller etc if you need a hand
