Looking at the ball ends on my next project and the rockers do show some rust on two of them. What is the best way to do this, thanks in advance for your advice. Chuck.

If you need to replace them just drive them out with a punch. New ones are available separately.
Use a brass drift with a 3/8 diameter depression in the end made with a ball end mill or a round carbide burr to drive them in. [or an old junk follower works too] Otherwise you will make a dent in the end of the ball. Make sure the oil hole is lined up.
