center stands:

Hi learned assemblage....

will an 850 center stand work on a 750? I need one and there's one on E-Bay..... don't want to drop the doe unless I am pretty sure I can retrofit it to a 750

Unless you have an early model with the frame mounted centre stand they'll fit up Ok, the 850 ones are a better/stronger design, and and the bushes they bolt to the engine cradle are a little different but compatible.

thanks: i know that mine is a 71 and drilled in the engine cradle for a center stand
