Center stand hard on isolastics?

My norton is currently in my living room for the winter. Because of crowding I put it on the centerstand, I remember reading somewhere (probably on this forum but I could not find it) that doing that is hard on the isos. Personaly I dont see how because there is always weight or pressure on them anyway, just in a different area.

Am I wrong?

I store mine 100% on the center stand and they are untouched since 74.

I would think the other way around? As the centerstand is mounted to the cradle and that is where the weight is. I also keep mine on the centerstand, Chuck. :?: :?:

I store mine on the center stand. Even when I ride and stop for gas, a drink, whatever, I hardly ever even use the side stand. During winter, I turn the front tire a quarter turn each week, trying to avoid flatspotting.
