(Would that make it a DUK ?).
Wonder what Her Maj thinks of these shenanigans ?

You can’t get much better than this, as the new PM has appointed Boris as the Foreign Secretary

The military/industrial machine just has to be catered to... ??
And we all, ultimately, serve that machine..

Surely that means the Germans can't sell the UK cars and so on...seems unlikely?[/quote.
And that's the point. The UK is Germany's biggest export market in Europe, they cannot afford to jeapodise that, so sensible trading arrangements are certain to be established.

Don't get upset if I offend some but this is my opinion and a lot of Aussies think the same, we can't keep spending money we don't have, our pollies have sold us out a very long time ago and the hole gets deeper that we can't get out of.
Its about time we start talking motorcycles again, isn't this what this site is all about.

Don't worry about offending any Americans, Ash. Many of us would like to see US imperiialism halted and more effort (and $!) expended on citizens here at home. We can spend untold billion$ (not to mention lives and blood) on "nation building" and exporting our culture, but if you spend anything on American citizens, it's branded "socialism".
