As the inner races can only fit one way on the crank, which side out wards for the outer race?
Inner race has the ID's out board should the outer race be the same, as there are castleations on one side of the cage, solid face on the opposite side?
I cant find my pics or notes how I did it last time !!!
Regards Mike

the " castellations" is only the result of assembly . I really dont think it matters which way. I certainly dont worry about this.

It will take a lot of convincing before I believe that inner and outer races are made in pairs, or that one way is better than the other.

Thanks guys, I ll fit them with the ID's to the outside of the crank.
Regards Mike.
PS Don how are those single cable carb pulls coming along?
Regards Mike

Mike, all assembled except for the cable riser bracket , I was gonna do these myself but I got a bit busy and they went on the CNC que.
they are done and will be in my hands in a few days at which time I'll be doing some testing as well as sending some abroad for independent testing.
So all going good about 2-3 weeks. The assembly is very nicely machined and will come with a new set of slide springs and throttle cable.

I always install them in the order/orientation that they are packed.

That has always seemed like a good clue to me too!

Don , Ill check to see if the spacings on he carbs on this 650 SS I have are the same for the 850 carb spacing, if so, Ill be up for a couple of sets.
