Atlas main bearing drive side removal

Atlas drive side main bearing outer race won't drop out of it's boss no matter what I do. Have tried the oven, map gas heat, everything. Won't budge. Any wisdom here?

You may have to run a small bead of weld around the bearing surface to shrink it

On the up side - at least it's tight in there - much better than the opposite - too many loose ones out there!

Try heating the crankcase in the oven and then spraying pipe freeze on the bearing.
