Is there a modern master cylinder for the MK3 that retains the stock switch assembly?
Is the stopping power/feel of the current AN offering better than the OEM MC? If it's just a newly manufactured version using the OEM specs, there wouldn't be any "improvement" in feel/power over stock. I have no idea whether it's a duplicate of OEM or has different piston size/leverage, etc, just asking.
Pete, you must have one heck of a grip! I had the same setup with the chrome ground off and never could begin to overpower the tires! 12" disc and AP caliper and it actually stops.13 mm AN in front, everything else stock.
1/2” LF Harris in rear, everything else stock.
Fredo Platinum pucks.
Improves braking enough to overpower tires. Seems to have better feel overall . Still limited by puck and rotor size, but I live in the flat lands so it works for me. Even down in Va. ripping around the mountains with my son I never had any brake fade. Guess I must ride like an old lady.
