Battery tray mounting detail

I have been worrying about this for 2 years now. Does the front tab that bends back from the battery tray mount under the spacer or under the web on the frame? I think the people that powder coated my tray bent things, don't know why, but when things are not in your possession, who knows what happens.



I doubt if the 71 and up are any different than the 68/70?

Where does all this pollen come from, the oak trees?

Looks correct to me.

Although my bike is a MK III model, your order of assembly matches the photographs I have of an undisturbed setup.

Mine's set up exactly the same - between spacer and frame lug.

You able to adjust the iso at all Dave?

Yeah, that's the Hemmings adjuster if you noticed. I can get the allen key from the front. So far I've got the back ones at 0.01" and the front at 0.015, but I'm thinking about opening up the front ones to 0.02. I'm a pretty conservative (old) rider.
