bar end mirrors

Hi, can you tell me what bar end mirrors most of you are using that don't blur please?

Isn't that caused from our older eyes taking a little longer to focus on objects in the mirror as they disappear in the distance upon acceleration?

I have a Napolean bar end mirror on my 750 and it's a little blurry but ok. Stay away from the EMGO bar end mirrors if you actually want to see anything.

On my Commando I have two of the Skyking mirrors sold by Colorado Norton Works. They work well, have excellent stability and are very well made. Very nice but pricey. Also very nice and equally pricey are Spiegler mirrors. Just put one on my Moto Guzzi restoration and they are as nice or nicer than the CNW jobs. They are about 15 bucks more and are awesome quality.

I have Halcyon bar end mirrors on my Commando. Very good quality, nice looking and quite functional...

Whenever I go to the local MC junkyard I look in their box of junk mirrors and look for an adjustable flat mirror on a chromed steel stalk. The flat ones are harder to find. When I need a mirror, I put one of them a vise and clamp it hard enough to roghen the finish, to distort it and ruin the chrome; then I hack saw off the threaded end, leaving a straight piece of stalk with a roughened surface. Then I take a piece of broom stick and grnd it down to close to the inside diameter of the handle bars; then I drive the wood into the end of the left bar; then I drill the wood out to a diameter smaller than the mirror's steel stalk. Then I put contact cement inside the wood hole and carefully drive the mirror into it. Let it dry, works great. It can be adjusted to sit tighter to the grip than other bar end mirrors; that is the overall handlebar package is narrower.

I came accros these a while back, they look like they are high quality and the stem can be put in the end so the mirror comes straight out the end of the bars or it can be put in the side so the mirror comes out & angles up or down. Go to Mlabel.parts and look for the mirrors or check out item # 290494008361 in Ebay motors. Not to much $. And the come in aluminium, black, and bunch of colors. Happy hunting. Glenn.

I've used CRG bar end mirrors the past two years on my Dunstall set-up.. Priced about $70 or so (each), multi-adjustable, excellent view and vibration free. Just "Google" CRG bar end mirrors and lots of offers come up.

+1 on the CRGs. I have a set of their "Blindsight LSs" (folding stems so mirrors can fold in for Lane Splitting (!) or storage in a narrow slot) and they work great.

+1 on CRG or even the cheaper copy on ebay!

I'm using CRGs as well. No apparent blurring, although they are quite convex. They're perfect for low bars, where the rider is leaning over the gas tank, and the bar-end mirrors are nearly in the line of sight. As a straight-up rider, I found that I had to dip my head to check before changing lanes, and I wound up installing a conventional trapezoidal flat mirror on the left side at eye level to give me a quicker read of the left lane.
