Hobot you bugger, I did that to. Only my bald spot was 12 inches long when I looked. Got to get your money's worth eh.

If you do that in the UK now it will be an instant on the spot fine and 3 penalty points, plus the vehicle impounded as it is in an unroadworthy condition :!: :(

Has anyone seen the AM26 RACE version? looks like the Roadrider?? http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/avon ... race-tires
I think it's the same mold, just a different compound.

...and DOUBLE the gold bullion!!![/qu

What do you expect :?:
When they were available, I used Metezeler ME1 on the rear which came with a race compound, combined with a ME33 front with Comp K compound. Expensive –yes, but well worth it in the winter months or if you are a hard rider who likes to get your ear as close to the tarmac as possible without falling off.

Some like to brag about it while getting their "money's worth".
I personally think its unwize.
Like this old song says for some:
Fools rush in where angels fear to tread
Both of their futures, so full of dread, you don't show one
Shedding off one more layer of skin
Keeping one step ahead of the persecutor within.
Appropriately named. The Jokerman.
