All 1962 and 1963 Atlas's were exported to the US. None would have the Euro type tax tag over the front mudguard.
Colors in '62 and '63 were black frames, chrome mudguards and red, black, or silver fuel tanks.
This one seems to have been worked over .... has concentrics, looks like oil line to the rocker boxes is taken off the high pressure port near the PRV, has something (auto anti-wet sump valve?) in the oil feed line, bars seem to be lower than US bars for the time period, dipper/horn switch not period Lucas. I would say the mudguards were originally chrome and were painted over, except for the edge piping.
The fuel filler cap is left of center, which I believe is consistent with the early Atlas's.
Wheel chrome looks good.
Exhaust headers appear to be of smaller diameter than my 63 Atlas.
