A guy in Ohio as emailed me if i know anyone who can rebuild his forks, one side is stiff. Cost of transit and our Customs make UK service's expensive.
Surely someone on this forum as the experience and equipment to do these simple jobs, what is the Classic Bike Experience in Vermont like?
Mayby you guys should form some service's ,instead of just giving advice. For the greater good, and a few bucks :) mayby i should move out with the tools!...if that doesnt get a responce ...every one's on their hols.

What on earth made you think we know how to do any of this stuff ( other than a couple of guys here)
Advice is my longsuit and I have a simple formula : Complicated problem, simple answer, simple problem, complicated answer. It ends up sounding very professional.
I send out invoices for all advice, but to date no cheques have been received.
If the money ever comes in, I will buy something really nice made by Madass, maybe a front brake setup!

You probably need to find a local engineering shop which will do jobbing work. The engineering is straight forward, machining , polishing , relieving. With British bikes you start at the beginning and work to the end. That w ay you will get a sense of achievement, and love your bike so much more .

Still in rant mood, dont forget the band aid, parts makers have forgot what files and scrapers are!
