Yes. Lots of plastic.

Here is what I had left after sorting.
Andover Norton Lead Times?

Parts were sorted according to use. Primary case, rear brake, caliper rebuild, gearbox rebuild, front Vernier isolastic, 13mm master cylinder and a few misc. parts.

Andover Norton Lead Times?

Nearly $1000 in parts there.

Ordered a crank sensor from Electrex World Monday DHL delivered it today, Friday, to my Pennsylvania address! Outstanding! Ordered parts from NOC November 4 and still waiting!

The last order I made with A/N was made on a Monday, parts received on the Thursday of the same week, very impressive. The other aspect that was impressive was the shipping cost, under $100 USD; this package was heavy 28 lbs IIRC; had a rear drum and other items. With the mess the holiday makes of the shipping world lead times will be much longer.

What makes the shipping impressive, by comparison, was a carb kit I sent to Greece, 5 lbs, (9 x 6 x 11) shipping was 212 USD.

Keep in mind that shipping services get crazy busy with the global Christmas holiday. This year I will stop shipping on 12-17, Friday to avoid miss-routing and damage.

Best.

This is good news from the US. Hopefully those in the EU will demand shipping times likes those to the US.
Suggest they complain to their waste of space EU representatives who have introduced some of the most complex and idiotic shipping regulations on the planet, that sadly seem to be understood by everyone outside the EU but not the EU itself.

I tried sending some Fortnum and Mason hampers to the EU this hear, I’ve done it for several years, Fortnum have been sending hampers around the globe for 300+ years.

But this year they’re not sending to the EU. They’ll send (almost) anywhere in the world… but not to the EU.

So please be under NO ILLUSION here folks, it is pure political point scoring on the EUs behalf to make it so unnecessarily difficult to move goods from U.K. to EU.

If I were unfortunate enough to be an EU citizen I’d be questioning why they’re doing this to me !

If they want to do business with us, they'll change. If not, only ourselves to blame.

FE,
It's just not the UK and nothing to do with Brexit, many other companies globally do not like shipping there now as well.
Problem seems to be 27 states interpreting EU rules differently, some countries need their citizens to disclose their personal ID to the seller so it forms part of the address, if you are a company you need EORI number, but we have also spotted that customers who order small amounts often are being monitored and when it looks like they reach a limit to be classed as importer the shipments get rejected for delivery.
Looks like heavy handed monitoring of its citizens which is not nice.

I placed an order with AN thursday, 53 items, delivered to Michigan on monday. 4 days. Impressive.

Unfortunately, despite quick service on large orders that shipped DHL, I placed a small order on 1/31 and it shipped Royal Mail/USPS. Tracking does not show USPS having possession yet, 8 days later.

The tracking lags behind the (Postal) service, in many cases.

This was the 1st time I was given an option on shipping. Since it was a small order I chose for the cheapest option. Tracking with DHL was always up to date. USPS just shows that the package has been processed in the UK.

To be fair, it doesn't look to be AN's fault, except perhaps, offering them as a shipping option. I placed 2 orders this month. One first thing in the morning, which arrived the following day. One was at 4pm yesterday and I'm told it will be delivered tomorrow. Not cheap, but good.

I know it's not AN's fault. It is still frustrating though.

DHL got me a Pender Norton brake kit in less than a week. Tracking said arr on a tuesday but it came on the preceding friday
although I wasnt home to accept it. Did a online change of delivery and it came monday still a day early. No complaints with the vendor, the product or the shipper.
