Placed an order with Andover Norton Tuesday evening, received the package today. 3 business days. Opted for DHL and paid an extra $20 over Royal mail.

Well worth it IMO.

Arrived today. 1 week is not bad for 17GBP. Package was less than 2kg.

My only issue with Royal Mail is lack of tracking intermediate steps, and lack of ETA.
Otherwise never had a problem.

just received my order from them.
england to Las Vegas
5 days.
so their service has been excellent .

Not AN related but interesting shipping company.

I ordered 10 bearings from 123bearing in France with a promised of 48-72 hour tracked delivery. The company they used is Chronopost.

The order was place at 0330 France time on Mar 30, 2022. By 2240 my time on Mar 31, 2022, it had moved a lot in France, been flown to England, when through customs, and was back to the airport in France (no idea why customs was done in England). Then it arrived in Indianapolis (middle of the US) this morning early, was flown to Dulles airport (32 miles away from me), then driven to Alexandria, VA (5 miles from me) and arrived there at 0837 my time.

It probably won't make it today as I figure the delivery trucks were loaded before it arrived, but it cost MUCH less than DHL or UPS and the speed is exactly the same as DHL and better than UPS, and the tracking detail is fabulous so am a fan of Chronopost and the bearings total cost with shipping less than I could find elsewhere.

Chronopost is state owned (France). Don't know who they use for International.
I have read they subcontract their services to Fedex, and probably get a good discount volume rate with them. Will be interesting to see who actually delivers your package, Fedex or ?
What bearings did you order from 123?

Now I'm really impressed - the package was just delivered by FedEx Express. If they had done it the whole way, their charge would probably have been more than the whole order! It came as fast or faster than DHL from the UK.

"Last Mile" by FedEx Express.

4203-2RS (06.7688 but double rubber seals). Got 10, total landed cost was $10.83 each. Least I can find 4203 in the US is $20 each + shipping. Several places in the UK have them, but more expensive. I have been buying un-sealed ones from AN; but, buy the time you add the felts and grease retainers they cost over $60 landed. Theirs are made in Japan so might be better quality, but I can't see or feel any difference.
