Allen Front Engine Plate Bolt,

Just a quick update, the Allen bolt fit fine. The allen head outside diameter is 18.7mm, close fit.
Finer threads would have been nicer and its slightly longer than orig. about 8mm. At least it looks better.

What's the front link supposed to do ? The one windy is showing,do they work instead of the beefy head steady or as a companion piece ? How will it affect the iso system function ? It's interesting,all these years I've been playing with Nortons and this is the first one ? Hmmmm

Someone is mimicking Buell's "Uniplanar" vibration isolation mounting system.
 
It looks like the allen bolt head will touch the engine when it's jumping around on the isos.

RE the front link rod. Many old threads on this - search tri-link and rump rod also.

Yeah i saw that, Ill keep close look, may have to back to the orig bolt. Oh well, I have another use for the allen bolts.
