A set of Maney or billet crankcases for Yves?

When I last spoke to Steve he was talking about retiring! Then he started selling the last of his stuff. No mention of problems with foundrys.

Steve mentioned to me a while back that the foundry he had been using for casting was no longer available to him, but I'm not positive about the reason. I think he said it was going out of business, but I'm a little fuzzy on the details. I'm sure he could have found someone else to do the work, but I think he'd already been thinking about retiring, and just didn't want the hassle of sorting out a new supplier.

Somebody tell them...

Kia Ora from New Zealand Jagbruno,
I can supply you with a set of Norton Commando billet cases if you are interested?
Send me an email with any questions you may have and I can address them for you.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers!

This is more or less what Steve said to me as well.

Donelson Cycles in St. Louis has a new NV Commando cases (750cc). They are unstamped and OEM. Pricey but available.

Thank you very much for the info, however I am pretty sure Yves will only want Maney or 'modern' billet crankcases.

Kind Regards,

Bruno

Hi Jagbruno
The posts from Trimachining re the billet cases will tell you the details you are after. This is where they are coming from. No doubt you are aware of the success they had in the UK recently with Platz's bike using these cases? Hope your interest is sufficiently piqued. You have my email now? Hope to hear from you soon! Cheers.
No

Ah, something went wrong then!
Yes, Yves is interested with those as he needs to install his Alton starter on the bike and I believe those cases should allow it.

Oh okay, I did email you at the address you gave me, unless I entered it incorrectly in some way. I'm new to this site so if you can tell me how to send a private message to you directly I'll fill you in on the content of my email. Cheers!
