961 Odometer problem (2013 model)

The odometer registers 1 mile for about every 300 yards of travel. The speedo works fine. My fuel light is on
all the time, even with a full tank. I read about a poor ground could cause the fuel light problem. Is is likely
that these two problems are related to the poor ground. Has anyone experienced the odometer problem?

Check the fuel light relay, pull it out and see if the light goes out. listen to see if the relay is clicking in and out when you plug it and pull it out (key on) . Now try to unplug the fuel pump power plug and see if the fuel light goes out . If it goes out , your pump low fuel level sensor may be stuck on. Now check the 1K resistor between the speedo input and the +batt pin .
