Original speedometer, older refurb with no miles sent to a known rebuilder that checked over, lubed, and ensured calibration. The odometer and trip meter are accurate but once over about 35mph the odometer is wildly inaccurate. The trip meter remains accurate through all speeds. The problem has been verified on the bike and the bench with a drill.

Anyone had this issue? Thoughts?

Who did the work? Nissonger from what I hear quit doing those some time ago.

Scott:
I would have Joel Levine have another look at it. Be sure to let him know about the odometer going bonkers at speeds over 35 mph.

Another resource for chronometric repairs is Greg Poirer <g.poirer.ohc@att.net>

Joel has done several gages for me in the past. Not the cheapest but always looked and functioned great

Thanks for the suggestions. Joel has gone over 5 or 6 instruments for me over the years. Was going to try here to see if it was something easy but will give him a call.
