hi everyone,
i have a bunch of '72 parts and a complete '73 and i was wondering if anyone knew the value of some of the items i haven't been able to see listed on the internet. for example what would an interstate tank, front forks, and wheels be worth? my research to this date leads me to believe that the 750 and 850 are very different engines and very few parts will interchange at least easily. does any one know if the exhaust valves and springs are the same part number? thank you, john b.

As for the Interstate tank...is it steel or fiberglass. The steel tank is worth quite a bit, the fiberglass...not so much.

Check the parts list at www.oldbritts.com and I think you will find part numbers and prices for most of your items.

Recently I saw a steel interstate tank sell on eBay for $745, no dents but needed paint and another steel tank that had one small dent, needed paint and had a $495 buy me now. It sold almost immediately (had the lid and petcocks too).

I know. I put a $500 bid on that Interstate tank. Springs the time to sell. Certainly not the time to buy.

ebay will tell you what it's all worth ending the 7th day. I'm afraid I can't help. It's crazy this time of year.

I paid $1075 shipped on eBay for a relatively-nice Interstate tank/side covers set. Nearly made me have a heart attack when I realized how much I'd spent.

thanks you guys. my interstate tank is fiberglass so i figure its worth about $300. i saw a new one with no logo , pinstriping, lid, or petcocks on a parts website for $450 and that would have a massive shipping bill as well.

I have a nice Interstate tank & side panels in my loft. I am still looking for that elusive Commando that needs a rebuild for not too much money, so I can use them.
Think I will have to keep dreaming, or spend more money.
