Posting this as I'm tempted to bid, but Florida is almost 3,000 miles away and it's buyer pick up. Better for someone more local. What interests me is I have the the first three months of Norton factory build records for 1947 as they were the 1000 numbers I worked on for the NOC factory records project. The engine number "D421" in the ad is the shop engine number for a Model 18 with engine number 8256. It was shipped to a dealer named Taylor in the US on 28 Jan 47. The plunger frame is from and ES2 so not original to the engine. Anyone buying this, let me know and I'll send the rest of the factory data.

That would have been an interesting project if that cammy motor had been part of the deal ?

I sent the seller a private message on that subject to see if was for sale.....absolutely no was the answer. Oh well.

In the messages down the bottom, the cammy engine was already sold.
Odd selling tactics... ?
