2015 961SE 2500 miles

Kind of taking a survey here. My 2015SE has 2500 miles.
Maybe I'm getting used to it but I notice it has become SLIGHTLY smoother.
What rpms do you people notice the bike running smoothest at?

Yea. The "bucket of bolts sound diminishes a bit with more mileage. 4500 to 4800. 4800 is the sweet spot for me and a bit over the speed limit. 80 on the dial. 72 to 73 actual

Yeah. 80 is 72 on my phone app. Wondered why people were passing me!!! I've been trying to find an rpm that it's the smoothest but it seems to vary. Lol

As far as most comfortable I would give my vote for 60 to 65 mph indicated . It is really too slow for interstate traveling but comfortable . So ,in the interstate case I try to keep it at about 75 mph indicated (real 70 to 71 mph on my bike) around 4500 rpm . For me , this is the best compromise between long distance comfort and fast enough not to be a hazard to the faster traffic. I did this on my Niagara Canada trip all the way home 650 miles , only stopping for gas . So if I can do it as they say ...
