Sorry, back to sidecars.
Saw this at a show last year.
Apparently Mr G. showed great interest in it. It did look factory quality, I must say

That’s fantastic!

I’d love an outfit, can’t get one down the side of the house tho!

Guys, any of you out in the states or anywhere else where you don't have full dealer support, please get in contact with me - I am happy to sell parts to you, and those of you who have dealt with me will know that there is no significant wait on parts ordered from me. I will also provide technical assistance where necessary, but I can't help if you don't tell me!

961 is very much alive and well, and there are no plans to discontinue it. We have the V4 imminent, and the 650 will not be very far behind it.

I want a newer Norton just to deal with people like Rob. Thanks!

it is gone

damn!
Someone got a bargain,14,000 miles on the clock means it must of had regular use & been ok,the owner must of had some long day mileage trips, let’s hope the new owner gets on the forum & shares his good fortune, although there are many owners out there that have that have never heard of Access Norton & need to ,I for one enjoy reading the many stories we’ve had,on trade in or resale values there is no guide on price from a “ glasses guide type book “ it will be based on condition & low miles , I didn’t buy mine to sell it , if I did with 16,000 miles on a 2016 model I can see a dealer taking a deep breath thru his teeth shaking his head, the limited edition ones of the SE & the numbered domiracer/dominator should hold up over time ,as to this years anniversary ones they To should do well in future, when looking for our next bike we all want great condition, never been in rain, heated garage, low miles & dealer service history & lots of receipt s, the Norton 961 is as desirable as the purchaser wants it to be , its different in many ways, insurance companies only list it as a sport,no mention of a Dom,SF or CF, SO FOR ME THE SECRET TO HAVING THE BEST BIKE EVER,IS KNOWING YOU ALREADY GOT IT .

It doesn't pass the smell test . I don't know if he really wants one or is just playing around like some do on the internet .

No , He just wants to talk .
"i just want to talk..."

the bike is in California and i am in the south east
the dealer sold it for asking price... not at the discounted price we agreed to.

and as far as riding... i have 6 other bikes and how and when i ibuy a norton is my choice...

not some lonely asshat's (TonyA) who lives out his fantasy on a forum waxing poetic about motorcycles with "character"... the rest of the world calls bikes like these problems.

it IS 2018.

So why are you on this site when you think you have all the answers. You must be very boarded with the rest of the world.

Woah... hold on there tiger... nothings gonna get resolved by talking like that, not on this site at least.

Tony is simply referring to the fact that you do indeed seem to struggle to buy. After all, it’s only dealing if you do a deal! If a week really had elapsed between you agreeing to wire the money, and the dealer selling it on elseswhere for the asking price, then I’m really not sure what the dealer did that could be deemed as being wrong!

If you genuinely want a 961, then we genuinely hope you get one. And if you do, this site is definitely THE place to be for advice and info and etc.
