Foxy drilling spindles has long been done by some long long mileage
riders with good results. Your plan is what's been done on new Ms Peel,
head, except I ain't figured out how to get from LH banjo
bolt to tiny oil gauge feed line, and not look like a hick scabbed it up.

if I buy one it would be the 100 psi item aswell

As I've previously stated in my other posts, my oil pressure when cold gets above 60 psi when cold, so the 100psi gauge would probably be the best option, although since I've changed from straight 50 oil to Millers 20/50, my cold oil pressure is lower, and my hot oil pressure is higher. Win win :D :D

Incidently, it states on the spec blurb on Marshals site that the fitting is
1/8" NPT Center Back Connection
.

Also thinking about grinding through the hardend ends of the intake rocker shafts to supply oil through to the other side thus eliminating the oil feed crossover line and taking off from that point as the feed to pressure gauge??

I know that Ludwig has written before somewhere about doing this, if you want to look it up?

Foxy, you might be the first ever to feature an oil leak from the head light : )

Yep Hobot, Ive already thought of that, its all only in the theory stage. By the time the head light shell houses reflector plus wiring including relays, might be a problem to install/fit stainless oil line!

Gday Reggie, thanks for the pointers, especially to the thread on "rocker oil line". Cant believe I missed that informative post as Im normally thorough in reading all.

At a rally I saw an oil gauge mounted in the stem cap.
Feed line came up though bottom of the stem.
Could as entertaining and informative as a compass I'd like there
instead.
