Hey everyone, here,s a thought you might want to consider. I have a buddy that races motorcycles and his secret to top engine performance is to add a little low ash 2cycle oil to the gas. He claimes that it will boost compression that will give the engine that little extra boost. He also says that on his everyday ride machine he gets a few more miles to the gallon. I talked to him about the Norton setup on carbs and how the slides wear quickly and he claims that the 2cycle oil in the gas will lube the slides and prevent a lot of the wear. Now you only put a teaspoon to the gallon of gas. This does not cause any smoke from the exhaust. I took a ride with my buddy yesterday and he added some Castrol 2cycle low ash oil when I filled up my Victory and I could tell a difference in engine response and performance. I,am going to try some in my MK3 today. As far as I can see it sure can,t hurt anything and if it lubes the slides that,s all the better. What do you guys think ???
