I am starting a build thread for bike #3. I have amassed a collection of parts, and have just about a whole bike, and it's titled.
I have listed the collection for sale in several places, but have had limited interest.
So I have decided to assemble it myself and sell it as a runner. We'll see if I sell this one or my Combat.
I have decided to go with a black on black color theme.
I am using all new bearings, cables, seals and gaskets. Hardware will be replated or replaced with SS.
I am still short a few pieces, but have them located, just waiting to sell some spares to be able to fund them.

Here is a link to the photo album, I will add more to it as I make progress. http://s1029.beta.photobucket.com/user/ ... for%20sale

Some of the goodies I have for it:
Complete Dunstall bodywork
Dunstall 2-1-2 exhaust with very nice Dunstall short mufflers
Dunstall 810 barrel, havent made a decision on which way i'm going with it, keep the 76mm or resleeve to std 750.
AP Lockheed caliper with RGM 12" floating disc
Alloy flanged wheels, 19" front with RGM dual disc hub, SS spokes, 18" rear with stock hub, Alloy finned brake plate, SS spokes.
Hyde fork brace
Alloy fork dampener tubes and top nuts
Custom oil cooler with Lockhart thermostatic control
Oil pressure gauge
Dunstall rearsets
MK3 crankshaft, narrowed to fit pre MK3 cases
SS camshaft
Rebuilt oil pump
PR headsteady
MK3 Isos
Reinforced oil tank
Swingarm spindle Clamps
Reinforced swingarm with 650SS chainguard
MK3 battery tray
Completly rebuilt transmission with FAG roller layshaft bearing, 19T sprocket.
Rebuilt Amal 932's with stay up floats.

Dear Sir,
what tipe of front dual discs is? where you buy this and what is the price?.
Thanks.
Ciao.

It has never lived as a Dunstall before now, so it has not been thrashed upon. It will be just as reliable as a properly put together Commando.
Well that's a relief.

"Dunstallized" can also mean commonly available Dunstall bodywork on a bike...

Luckily I have the not as common genuine from the 70's pieces. And if funds allow the PD big valve head.

I don't know if I have seen anyone do this before, usually I polish them, but this time I went gloss black, I like them.

I don't have the swingarm done yet, I will probably have it done next week. It's boxed in, but I still need to mount the chainguard.

Ill get some pictures of the wiring, it might change, these switches were from my alloy bike.

Been doing a bunch of cleaning and powdercoating. I can do more assembly once I finish gathering hardware to send out for Cad plating.
Here's some progress from tonight.

I had done the black fork lowers on the first incarnation of this bike, that was due to a bad chrome job, this is now 5th or 6th incarnation, It's been evolving more than 15 years.

Here's a picture from the first time I had a running version.

I redid my craigslist ad and got 2 calls within an hour. Both local collectors. Hopefully they make it out this week.

Black Beauty blasting media + HF Vibratory Tumbler = Easy and awesomely cleaned hardware ready for plating.

Large pile of cleaned hardware ready for plating. I think I have a local source for affordable electroless nickle plating.
If so I'm going to do the frame with the hardware.
I am going to try to finish work on the swingarm tonight, then once the plating is done I can assemble a roller.
I have all the parts located and the last pieces are on their way. It's now a complete bike, with lots of new shiny bits.

Now just cleaning and reconditioning of a few pieces left.

Major items needing attention:

Crankcases - clean, paint and install cam bearings
Head - clean, paint, valve job, spindle shims
barrel - clean, paint, threaded inserts, thru bolts
body work - paint, repair fairing
