Well after a year and a half of tracking down parts, asking a lot of questions, and lot of wrenching, not to mention mistakes made that had to be redone, endless hours of polishing aluminum parts, I'm finally done and as soon as my leg will allow I'll start it. It's come a long way from the pile of parts that arrived from Florida. Every nut and bolt is British CSI stainless, new valves, new guides, new rocker spindles, new tappets, new mushroom tappet adjusters, new cables, new stainless clip ons, new FAG roller superblends both sides, ground crank -10, new forged .020 over pistons, .020 cylinder bore, Rebuilt 930 Amals, Doherty throttle, RGM belt drive conversion, rebuilt gearbox, stainless rear sets, tank and seat from TAB Classics. Seat is removable via Production Racer Dsuz fastener so that stock tool box was retained, Lansdowne fork damper kit, Podtronics regulator, new wiring loom, new Avon Roadrider tires, alloy rims, stainless spokes, one piece rear axle conversion etc, etc. Thanks to everyone on this Forum that helped me along the way. One thing is for sure I know a hell of a lot about an Atlas than I did 18 months ago.

Well I see you installed a new Joe Hunt maggie, will make it a one kick every time starter, weather behind the motor or hanging off the side of the timing cover (which mine does) the new 4 rare earth JHs are great for that big spark and reliablity, the bike looks great and I can't wait to start back on my 1960 Manxman cafe racer rebuild, been sitting way too long, nice work on your old Norton, it looks great, well done, you just need to enjoy all your hard work now.

Now that my P11 is kind of done and possibly even reliable I hardly ever feel like riding it. Don't fall into the hole I'm in. Gardening is starting to get more appealing. 🤣
You know its funny you say that because I like to garden and I’ve always spent a lot more time wrenching and creating rather than riding😳😂
