Hi all. Looking for advice/suggestions on good quality mirror heads to replace yet again the crap ones that have failed where the clamping bracket mounts to the back of the mirror shell. Anyone found some at a reasonable price point?
TIA Stevo

They're even clearer after installing about 1.5kg of lead shot in the bars.
But I agree, great mirrors! I have 830's (I think), the round ones.
Another thing that makes them great is the fixing system. Clamps on securely but aways loosens when you want them to - unlike some!
Cheers

Halcyon do the clamp on version too if you want to stick with the stems. Round or Rectangular.

Halcyon in the conventional location.

Very high optical (as well as fabrication) quality.

The difference is huge.

Emgo being the first I remember seeing, WTF is this? So much junk out there.

I have Bumm mirrors on my bike. Great for a rear view.

(I did need to shorten the end of the stem and cut a 3/8 UNF thread in order to screw it into the top of the master cylinder)

In practical terms, I like short stem mirrors to keep the handlebar width down, bitd I used the bikes for commuting and the narrower width was better when riding in traffic.

I agree, bar ends are good for clip ons or similar, but on higher and wider bars they really inhibit filtering.
