My neighbor had the mower attachment, and made a sulky to ride his fat arse around on it.They don't make them like they used to, The 7Hp Tecumseh gets the job done and starts well with the pull cord. IT has the heavy duty "collector" gear box and the blower assembly. These models have interchangeable attachments for different purposes. Approx 1977 Vintage Ariens Sno-Thro, so it has seen lots of snow.

That looks DANGEROUS...
Alternatively, you will bury hapless cars parked incorrectly.View attachment 123540
With this you will not only move snow, but also find that car you knew was parked around here somewhere.
Lol, cardiac arrest is the biggest hazard to this stuff. That looks DANGEROUS...
It's too agricultural.... lot's of noise, vibration with marginal power.View attachment 123548
You know you want one Concours....

I don't think we've had snow like that over here since I was a toddler.
I remember sitting in the departures lounge at Chicago O'Hare a few years ago looking at a row of 20+ snow shovel tractors all lined up as the snow came in. We got away OK, but a couple of hours later It all got shut down.
That and 5 degrees Fahrenheit at Minneapolis in November made me realise what a warm country I live in, even if it is generally a bit damp.
We seem to avoid the worst (and the bestThe 'beast from the east' in March 2018? Hit my part of the country quite hard. I had some garden landscapers doing some work, and the weather was atrocious - had to admire them for not abandoning the job for a few days. There were lanes still blocked with snow a week after the snow fell, and the local river (the Wye) froze over.
Isn't it the case that in the US householders have a legal duty to clear snow from pavements? Not so in the UK.
Long ago we thought the cold weather would keep the riffraff out. Sadly...not so.I don't think we've had snow like that over here since I was a toddler.

In the city, it's required to clear the SIDEWALK in front of your property. The 'beast from the east' in March 2018? Hit my part of the country quite hard.
