cam bushing O.D. change?

I have a 1972...cam bushing (timing side) which measures 1 1/16" O.D.
I have a pair of cam bushings for a 1975 which measure 1" O.D.
I assumed that all Commando cam bushings (TS) would measure the same

They are all the same. The bushings you have would require sizing. Are these AN bushings?

I always replace the 1972 timing side cam bushing with a pair of MK3 bushings from AN. Never a problem, so I assume your crankcase has been enlarged and a special bushing made.

I would think someone accidentally mislabelled the package for the bushings, and what you have are not Cdo cam bushes.
