Float Needle seat

There were at least six sizes originally, 0.100" being the standard size. See "Float Bowls" in the link above.

However AN at least, now appear to be selling the 0.125" seat float bowls as standard.

The original drain plug float bowl is 622/055(S).

According to the 850 Mk3 parts book the Mk3 float bowls (622/056) had the 0.125" seat as standard.

I'm pretty sure they are also stamped on the side ".125" IIRC

Are those replacement bowls or did they come off a installed carb?

Replacements I bought from Amal some years ago which I've always meant to fit to my Mk3's carbs which are not the originals but generic 932/300 and 932/301.

That might explain it. I don’t think my Premiers are stamped, not sure if I can read the bottoms while they are installed. I’ll check when I get a chance.
