    Fortnine Video

Always enjoy this guy’s videos - he may be interested in knowing that the old school points in my Commando are still serving well after all these years while the electronic ignition system I purchased sits in a box on the shelf.

Ya, a faire bit of "Artistic license" in his videos for sure, Eh? ...I caught the "righthand, four down shifting" comment.
I didn't know Norton engines were being tossed into those race car frames back in the day.

I think it may have been OHC singles - Manx ? In the race cars

Reportedly why so many specials with Manx frames were built.
Yes the video states when Formula 3 spec'd 500 c.c. powerplants, racers bought up Nortons and put the engines in the cars, leaving a glut of empty frames (presumably featherbeds) for the custom builders out there.

Fortnine's great. Fun video- nice bike! I'm pretty north for USA so it's always a treat to see Ryan flogging some old iron up a mountain that looks close to home. I also like that he rides in inclement weather- if we chose not to, we wouldn't get much of a season!
