Concours, maybe you could use another one of these? https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/d/cologne-2006-triumph-rocket/7728757940.html
Have you ridden one?Not a bad price, but that's a behemoth.
Nope. I want one, just don't want to pay for it, and will ride it infrequently; so, it will be another decoration.Have you ridden one?
That is a lot of bike for short moneyConcours, maybe you could use another one of these? https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/d/cologne-2006-triumph-rocket/7728757940.html

I have THREE "sets" like that one...Some people look at that and say, 'He has a Motorcycle problem'. (usually a wife)
Others say, 'That's a nice starter set.'
I rode one when they first came out. 2004 or 2005. The local Triumph dealer had a demo. "Come test drive the new Rocket 3, get a free T shirt". Still have the shirt. I think it says "I rode the Rocket III". Back then they were saying it was as fast as a Hyabusa in 0-60 times. I think I had it up to 70mph in first gear and never got to take it out of second. Never had a chance to hit the highway. Heavy, but pulled like a freight train.Have you ridden one?
Concours, if you had any interest, let me know. Seems like you could get it for $3500. It's near Atlantic City, NJ. 55 miles/Hour and 10 minutes from me. If you decided you wanted to do the deed, I have an air bnb you could stay a couple days, N/C to recoup for your journey back home. When I was a young man, 1980, I used to work at the old Thompson Center Arms factory in Rochester NH. From what I remember it was a 6 hour commuteThat is a lot of bike for short money
Thank you for that offer. There is simply "no room at the inn" for any more bikes.Concours, if you had any interest, let me know. Seems like you could get it for $3500. My shed behaves somewhat like a bodybuilder who goes through ‘bulking’ and ‘cutting’ phases !Most of us need to shed a few bikes. As in de-shed them so to speak. As we get older it is a chore to keep them all up to snuff.
At least that is what I am finding out.
So... never? My shed behaves somewhat like a bodybuilder who goes through ‘bulking’ and ‘cutting’ phases !
I get to a point where the shed feels to full to manage… so I cut back… then the empty space starts calling… shed fills up… repeat…
Maybe when I grow up I’ll grow out of it…?!
Maybe when I’m in a care home !So... never?
I am comforted by the fact that I have never matured so can't get old.Maybe when I’m in a care home !
I’m in a mild ‘too full to manage’ phase now Rob… won’t last long though… you know what I’m saying…
"Too much is JUST ENOUGH"I have too many bikes as well, but I would have a very hard time getting rid of my Rocket III !
It's just too powerful, too unique, too HD killing.
And then you can add a supercharger !"Too much is JUST ENOUGH"
God bless you lad.And then you can add a supercharger !
