I always love when at bike shows to have a close examination of carbs on bikes in the concourse section ....you know they never been started or rode to the event, more likely done more miles on a trailer or the back of a van
Not one spec of brown smelly around the ticklers you just know someone's not been jiggling :D

Bugger! I can't find the tickler on my Keihin FCRs - anyone know where I should look? (be polite!!)
It's connected to the throttle linkage, but renamed accelerator pump. ;)I twist (tickle) the throttle more than Commando owners to get enough fuel in the cylinders to kick start my cold old twin.

I think I held the tickler down on the Amals and tried not to get fuel all over the things. Barbaric but functional lets spill some fuel before we start the engine design.

The French translation for "tickler" is "titilleur". You use it to "titiller" your carb.
And you can even make the same suspect jokes with it! :)

Derek... all Commandos were originally female(ergo the 'buttons'), but have currently been physically altered to male... some just identify as male too. Mine is still female because of behavior, and is called names referring to such when deserved for sputtering, stalling, refusing to meet my wishes, etc..... I don't know much but do know a bitch when I see one.

Just got back from a pleasant 40mi. ride on her back with only sputters when cold so she is a well behaved and loving female currently of high esteem and good breeding... A real lady.

Just put the head back on atlas, in the frame, she has ticklers, but after much cursing she is a whore!!!!

I answered with "press till it floods", because that is the USUAL.

However, as I already mentioned - if a float needle sticks, a few jiggles will soon have it flooding properly.
